Groups & Tour Operators
From tour groups to school groups, our Group Services Department can make your visit to The Gardens even more memorable. We’ll coordinate all of the logistics, from your arrival to your dining experience, so you can relax and take it all in.
Type of Groups
Tour Groups
- For tour bus groups, please contact our Group Services Department and we will assist with you with arrangements. Call 250-652-4422 ext 320 prior to your visit.
- Tour Group Guidelines & Policies
- Groups arriving and departing via the Wharf need prior approval and a reservation.
Adults
- Upon advance booking, Adult groups receive a discount if:
- The group is 25 or more adults
- The group arrives together
- The group pays one lump sum
- Optional group food services available
- All groups must abide by our Garden Etiquette
School Field Trips
We welcome organized School Groups and Field Trips October 15 – April 15 only (no school field trips accepted after April 16).
Advance reservations are required and based on availability. For reservations: Group Services 250-652-4422 or groupres@butchartgardens.com
- Visits restricted to maximum 2 hours
- Maximum group size 60 students
- Chaperone requirement 1 adult per 10 students
- Based on the 1:10 ratio we will provide complimentary chaperone admission
- Child and youth seasonal rates apply
- All chaperones (teachers & parents) are expected to remain on site and actively supervise and stay with their groups at all times during the visit
- All chaperones must read and sign our School Group & Field Trip Policy form prior to arrival
- Appropriate behaviour is expected otherwise your group may be asked to leave
- All groups must abide by our Garden Etiquette
